ESTRELLA FOOTHILLS HIGH SCHOOL
 
Estrella Foothills High School, which opened in August of 2001, is located within the Estrella community. The school, which is part of the Buckeye Union High School District, currently serves approximately 1100 students in grades 9-12. Estrella Foothills is designated as “Highly Performing” by the Arizona Department of Education. At Estrella Foothills, students benefit from a Block Schedule that allows them to complete the necessary coursework required for high school graduation and university entrance, while still having time to take desired electives. Advanced Placement, honors and dual enrollment courses are available in the areas of English, Mathematics, History, Science and Spanish. The Career and Technical Education programs include Business Management, Culinary Arts, Drafting Technologies, Allied Health and Fire Science. Dance, drama, music and visual arts provide even more options for students during the academic day.
