What will I need to do to receive my laptop?

After enrolling, parents and students will need to review and sign the Student Technology Agreement and Acceptable Use Agreement, as well as pay the technology fee. Once these have been completed and submitted the student will be able to receive the laptop.

Can students add an app or change the desktop?

Can students add an app or change the desktop?

Students will have rights to have install apps and change their desktops. Keep in mind, the laptops may be restored or reformatted at any time, so students are highly encouraged to backup all local content and to use discretion with application and desktop alterations.

How far does the collaboration go in the classroom? Are students/teachers able to collaborate with other schools within the district?

How far does the collaboration go in the classroom? Are students/teachers able to collaborate with other schools within the district?

Collaboration is decided at the class level. Resources and software, for example Office 365 and Edmodo, will be available to that will provide for collaboration across the district.

If students switch schools in the same district do we keep the same laptop?

If students switch schools in the same district do we keep the same laptop?

Yes. As long as students remain in the school district, they will use the same laptop during their enrollment.
