The mission of the Buckeye Union High School District is to provide a quality education that empowers all students to succeed in a rapidly changing world by providing challenging opportunities to learn according to individual needs in a safe, supportive environment.
Buckeye Union High School District #201 currently consists of three traditional high schools, Buckeye Union High School and Estrella Foothills High School, Youngker High School and an alternative school, the Buckeye Academy. Each school provides a progressive curriculum with an array of elective and vocational course offerings to ensure optimal educational opportunities for its diversified student population of over 3150 students. Students have ready access to excellent institutions of higher learning including Estrella Mountain Community College, Glendale Community College, and Arizona State University West. The district is committed to developing productive citizens and life-long learners and assuring success for all students, whatever it takes.
